Our Story

SMSA is Carleton University, Sprott School of Business's Marketing club. SMSA was created to provide both professional and social orientated events, specifically targeted towards commerce students with a concentration in marketing. These events targeted towards Sprott marketing students are intended to be beneficial towards their future career after graduation, providing them with the proper tools and skills to do so. Every year, SMSA offers an opportunity for Sprott Students to apply for an executive position-- these positions are posted at the end of every school year and will appear on our website during March.

The SMSA’s main initiative for the 2015/16 school year is to connect talented marketing students with marketing professionals in the Ottawa area. SMSA strives to create events where students and professionals are able to network, share ideas and create valuable connections.
